For Our Teachers/Staff
As you know, the PTA has been diligently working on fundraising, projects and finding volunteers to help support the school and your classrooms. We have a lot going on in the classrooms, at the school and with the PTA from now until the end of the year. We’ve added you to an exclusive Teachers & Staff PTA list.
Here’s the list of things we’re currently working on for you.
- We hope each of you received the Teacher Appreciation Form in your inbox late last week. We’re trying to build a book for parents to use when buying gifts for you! If you can’t find your copy of the document, you can download it HERE. OR, fill it online, HERE, and one of the PTA board members will print it out and get it placed in the book. If you have your copy or print your own, please send it to the front office, they will place it in the PTA mailbox. Thank you to those teachers who have already filled out their forms! (Staff, if you didn’t receive a copy as well for you, PLEASE, fill one out and add it in! We want every single member of the staff to have a page in the book.)
- Giving Trees - by now you should have seen the two trees outside the cafeteria. Thank you to Mrs. Newhouse & Mrs. Kelly for creating them. Ms. Chamblin has so graciously posted her ‘leaves’ with items she’s in need of as a sample for everyone. Please! Use your leaves and post your needs. It will especially help if you do this soon (before Feb 10th) so we can remind parents to take a leaf here or there on Rock & Roll Night to help you out in your classrooms.
- Volunteers - Each of you likely collected a list of volunteers from your parents at the beginning of the school year. We would love to help out with getting them helping our around the school. Principal Turner asked the PTA to help out in getting volunteers for the Cafeteria, Recess and more. To do so, we need your lists! They will be added to a specific volunteer site, which each of you will have a link and access to so you can post your needs and we can post the overall school and event needs. We’re hoping this will help us get more volunteers participating!
